SPIDERS AND SNAKES To Release 'A Phoenix Out Of Tucson' In September
July 10, 2003SPIDERS AND SNAKES, the band led by Sunset Strip legend Lizzie Grey (who started LONDON with MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx in 1979),have signed a deal with LoDown/Cool Music Records and have begun recording their new album, tentatively entitled "A Phoenix Out Of Tucson". 12 new songs are being laid down with producer Eric Heithaus and are said to be "rocking in the same spirit as CHEAP TRICK, TOM PETTY, ALICE COOPER, ELO, and MOTT THE HOOPLE." A European tour will follow in the fall, with a U.S. tour tentatively planned for early 2004. Grey and company are also working on their tenth music video for the song "Freeway", described as "a rocking acoustic AOR song inspired by the streets of L.A. and the long journey in life."
